Not sure where you're located but I host "TW Cabin Meets" up at my place in WV. It's about a 2hr drive from Baltimore. I always mention them here. And its always a great time. We explore the mountain, shoot guns, ride atvs, grill, bullshit around the firepit, you know true redneck shit. Some stay the weekend by camping or crashing in the cabin. Unfortunately covid has slowed down my big meets but I've had a couple small unplanned get togethers.

I use a 2' wobble extension, it gets right in there. Be sure to use a 6pt socket. When I did my 4runner, the tensioner bolts were already rounded over from the Neanderthal that did the prior t-belt. I used a kit on fleabay by the user named "air cabin man", the kit is highly recommended on T4R. It claims to be 100% factory parts ( which I doubt, as I have a wholesale acc't at Jerrys Toyota. My price for everything in the kit was almost $650) but it's still a good kit and has pretty much everything you need.

I also got to use a vacuum evacuator for draining the cooling system. If you can get access to one, do it. I'm convinced it's the only way to do this job.

I have a crank holder that I fabbed up that worked well on my 3.4, I can lend it to anyone that needs it.

I fought that issue on my 4runner, what finally fixed it was actually pretty easy: I had frozen bell cranks on the rear brakes. Once I figured it out, fixed the bell cranks then did a proper brake shoe adjustment, the replacement rotors have been fine for the past 2 years. Even with pulling the heavy home depot rental trailer for moving last summer, I never had any brake fade or any shakes. I'm on 100% stock size brakes w/ Stoptech drilled rotors ( cheapest rotor that I could find at the time, literally cheaper than any "econo" rotor from Napper) and Akibono brake pads.

    Morning All

You could try out Atlantic Off road though they are new to powder coating. I have no first hand experience with them, just follow them on FB and remember seeing posts when they started powder coating.

Shit just spray those suckers. Easier touch up. Also you will be pissed the first time you bottom out and that expensive powder coat is gone. Use primer then spray that sucker.

    IMO

Might be worth it to try out the Rustoleum Bed Spray liner. I used it on my tow hitch skid and it turned out pretty good. Can spray it for touch ups too.
I was gonna add a pic but I can’t seem to find it. I’ll be doing my chrome bumper caps with it as well once it warms up a little.

I've got this up at my cabin. I'm planning to use it more this season on the stocked lake at Cacapon state park.
