A guy near Seattle. I don't believe he has an account but I know he's read through my build thread. He's pretty in love with it from what I can tell. I'm confident it went to a good home :)

Which reminds me, I need to upload all the pics and video I still have on my phone and computer. I've got one last trip to share and it was a good one. Especially the blizzard -

Pro tip: if you've got a bunch of wires to run from under the hood to switches or a fuse box etc, just pick up a cheap trailer pigtail. 7 wires and a heavy duty sheath, just cut off the plug and it's slice n splice!

Well, I didn't make the progress I expected to make today but I'm still happy with what I did get done.

Word of the day: Eyegess'o /iy·ges·so/ - adverb - used as a blunt matter-of-fact statement to express ones discontent and acceptance at the current situation.

Example: Am I really going to spend the rest of the afternoon working on removing this one rusted bolt?

    BE1A5005-F00D-4050-A5D9-37653EBD6F74.jpg

    Eyegess'o...

This concludes this post's period of instruction.

    Moving on!

Took way too long to get this guy out

    B80FAEFF-3346-4F37-BED6-C2EFDA1B0841.jpg

And I've got one more on the front driver's side and two more in the rear to address over the next couple days. I've come to discover that any hardware that could have been sprayed with salty highway salts from tires splashing around in the salty-salts has rusted out all to the frame or whatever it's mounted against. The good news is, the frame, the suspension, the axles - they're all super simple. By the time I finish the lift I should have most of the hardware from the doors down completely replaced. Since I've got the front axle chilling on jackstands, I'm thinking I'll take it to get media blasted to get the rubber coat and the rust off of the steel. We'll see how much that might cost and go from there. If it's not too bad I'll consider taking the axles to a diff shop to stop in the 4.88's... or 5.13's... haven't decided; the research continues.

Other updates: crawl box is ordered and the manufacturer says it'll be about two weeks. This time will be dramatically different than last time. I'd put a guarantee on that but I've only done one so far. Regardless, I'm pretty excited.

My front bumper also just shipped. Itwill be in Friday and I can't wait to see it mounted up!

    More updates soon!

    The work continues

$60 each to get the axles media blasted. Dropping the front off first thing in the morning should be done after lunch
