Does anyone know why every time I turn off my truck the radio remains on, connected to my Bluetooth and is still playing? I’m concerned the battery will die if I don’t fix this over night..

First thing I would check behind the stereo are the positive, memory, and negative wires. Then go from there

Honestly I believe it’s OEM, I bought it from a dealership already installed. As of now I’m just unhooking the negative wire on the battery until the morning so it won’t drain the battery. But I can look at the pos, neg, and memory wires tomorrow. And thanks for all the advice

Yeah so when I press the knob (the volume button) it turns off the music part but keeps on the navigation part.. so I press the ignition switch, it turns off everything but the freakin radio. I have no clue, maybe there’s a faulty wire involving the radio.

Are you actually turning the truck off? If you have push button start and turn it off before shifting to park, it will leave the truck in accessory mode.

otherwise the wiring is probably jacked up.

Yeah it’s turning off. I just disconnected the negative pole last night and re connected it this morning and drove to work, then killed the truck and that seemed to reset what was wrong with it. But you had a great point! I appreciate all the help

I've got a '05 Sequoia, that I bought new, with the upgraded JBL system, of the time. It's gone wonky on me a couple times, refusing to eject CD's, refusing to change stations, etc and the cure has always been to disconnect the battery for a bit and seems to work itself out.

Same problem here, the only way to reset is disconnect the positive lead on the battery. Life
