    Dallas doesn't get ice very often, and when they do they don't have any equipment to deal with it.

    A thing or two...
    What? We lived in the DFW through middle school and high school. We got ice multiple times per year, and black ice wasn't uncommon. There were also salt/sand trucks they'd deploy when it got bad. There was a bad ice storm that came through around this time in 2006 when I was living at home after college.

    Indeed, I dropped the chain link pin that gave it to me like it was on fire. Combined with a couple choice words, both my fellow prisone- oops, millwrights, looked at me like "wtf". Then I dragged that long sliver out with needle nose pliers and they understood.
