Wow !! , that's a very bad accident

 

Looked like several of the vehicles had already been thru the compactor... Their saying it extended almost a mile.. It's been on the weather channel all day here in the server room... They are using rotators to pull vehicles out of the lane and over barriers... Their pulling someone out of a white Tacoma right now on the live feed...

They are worried about hyperthermia of the people still trapped in the vehicles..

Can anyone say Pandemonium? Well typical for Seattle, snow as started falling in a few various places but nothing at the school and certainly not to the levels predicted. We will see what tomorrow holds....At least everyone has plenty of bottled water to go with the toilet paper they’ve been hoarding. Have a good evening...stay safe!

Is it a coffee shop or is it a diner? Maybe a question for the 50+ group

 

a coffee shop is where my band plays low volume jazz to 30 something yupsters who think they are hip

a diner is where we go to eat after the gigs

 

That's a tough spell of cold there. Once it gets back to above freezing, it will feel like summer.

 

In Seattle for a Diner you used to go to Beth’s. An eclectic joint with rot gut coffee but it was home of the 24 egg omelette and all you could eat hash browns. The coffee shop on the other hand had great coffee but horrible microwave pastries...

Did a double take, never knew a fox to climb a tree LOL. They only build them in trees around here and yes they are huge.



Was in April but every once in awhile you could see the fog from the babies breath.

Got up to -4 here today, looks like a heat wave on Tuesday though.



Friend of mine from Silver Bay Mn. where I bird hunt told me to quite my bitching. Was -36° this morning there and a couple more degrees lower and C and F would be equal temps.

Edit: Second cup of coffee and decided to take a peak outside. Thick layer of ice and a few big limbs down. And a whimpering lab that refuses to go outside. The big brown eyes are clearly saying "it's too cold dad".

Y'all doing OK up north? How bout my Texas folks? Did y'all know summer is just around the corner? We're already thinking about the first swim of the season. 2 years ago in February we were already swimming in the Llano river. Yep in February...it was a balmy 80 degrees a few years ago.
