I am here to tell you friends -- don't be afraid of the Covid shots. I had NO aftereffects from either shot other than a slight sore arm where the shot was given. Wife had her second this morning so we will see about her. We both had the Phizer version.

I got my first vaccine yesterday (Moderno) and the only side affect I felt was soreness in the arm where I got the shot this morning - nothing earth shattering.

Just got back from having a CT Cardio Skan and giving more blood and peeing in a cup - hopefully I am DONE for a while now and we get some answers to the changes in my blood work...

Plus I got a speeding ticket in the Springs and I was being passed - first ticket in 30 years and I was pissed.

    Not a good Thursday,

Wife got one like that Mike. She asked the cop why he stopped her and not the ones passing her and his answer was: "Because I can!". Fortunately it was only $118.

    He was prejudice.
My friend got out of a ticket when he proved the cop stopped him out of a line cars because he had a racing stripe on his car.

My wife and I got our first (pfizer ) Covid vaccines today. No side effects other than feeling a little tired/fatigued this afternoon. No arm pain either. Really wanted to have a glass of whiskey this evening but decided it would be better to wait for a day after my vaccination. But I am prepared for tomorrow night. A nice glass of Forty Creek Barrel Select whiskey. Stopped on the way home and replenished my supply. Looking forward to a nice grilled steak, baked potato, salad and a glass of........0DD4974A-8F2B-4C88-971A-31B049490D90.jpg

Good morning, all! We ended up with about 2" of light snow yesterday morning - cleared it off the driveway so it didn't turn into a sheet of ice on our hill. I also had to spend some time yesterday afternoon pushing the snow piles back to open our driveway - was getting narrower after every snow and more is on the way.

I need to make a quick run into the city this morning and then not much else on the schedule. It's Lunar New Year if you are looking for a reason to celebrate.

    Be safe out there.

Well, a little early so I'll just have coffee for now.
    Good morning all!

Mark...I installed those spotter mirrors yesterday and really like them. Have you got yours on yet?

Good TGIF Morning folks. It's been great weather here in Florida and after hearing of all the snow up home, I am enjoying being here. RIP to the folks that died in the Texas pile up. There were close to 100 vehicles with some semis and cars piled on top of other cars. So sad.
I am going to try to talk Deb into going out for dinner tonight nite. This will be our Valentines Day dinner and hopefully we'll avoid the Feb. 14th crowds. Hope everyone has a safe and happy day. Enjoy.
Have a good Happy hour Mark

Cool!! No, I didn't get mine on, yet. It's been so cold here I as leery about popping the old ones off - how hard was yours to do? Do you have the BSM version, too?

Thanks! Lynn and I started a weekly Face Time Happy Hour with my sister and her husband who live in Detroit. We've been doing it for about 8 months now. We just wish we'd thought of it before the pandemic - what a great way to stay connected.

It was in the 60's here, pretty warm. I understand you're waiting to at least having your truck in a somewhat warm place.
Plastic clips vs cold can result in breaking things and you do have to exert a bit of force to pull the old ones off.
Don't be too worried though...It's a really easy process. I had both sides completely finished inside 10 mins. from start to finish.
And, yes I do have the BSM and it actually seems to work better now! I think the lights are more noticeable?
The view from the mirrors though is definitely worth it. No buyers remorse!

That is great to hear. I really want to get them on.

It's sub-freeing in my garage at this point and the temps don't get out of the 20s for a week. I think I'll grab a hairdryer and heat the mirrors up first. Did you start by popping the bottom clips first?

Yes, tilt the glass all the way pointing up. I watched that youtube video but instead of prying with a tool I just pulled with my hand and it worked fine.
Once the bottom clips are loose the rest is very easy!
