Man my eyes were opened in the spring when I got a new bike with a Lyrik Ultimate on it. Buttery smooth off the top in comparison to my 36. To be fair, I didn't have the fancy grip 2 so that may account for some of it.

Ok guys, need some help finding some good shorts, shirts etc that aren’t crazy overpriced. Bought a pair of Zoic Either shirts with an REI gift card. Like them and may get another pair in different color using a 30% off coupon.

All I own is ethers for shorts. For shirts, you can usually find some clearance stuff on competitive cyclist, etc for good prices.

Or if youre like me and hate sunscreen with a burning passion, columbia terminal tackle long sleeve shirts are great and only $30ish so about half of a good jersey at retail.

Man, I have never even considered needing sunscreen. Guess riding where there are no trees that’s a legitimate concern.

I’ve become a big fan of long sleeve jerseys year round. Was pretty bummed when TLD didn’t have much in stock around the holidays. That’s my usual yearly ‘re-up’ on kit timeframe.

Eddie Bauer Long Sleeve Resolution shirts are my go to shirt...I'd say for riding but honestly I wear them almost every day regardless. They have UPF protection and wick sweat. I highly recommend especially since you can usually find them on a good sale. But don't tell anyone, EB is my secret treasure trove of cheap outdoor gear and I don't need that changing :fistbump:

I recommend trolling Pinkbike classified for lightly used shorts and jerseys.

There’s tons of stuff on there that people have spent top dollar on, wore a time or 3 and don’t want any more for $20-50

I’ve become a bit of a tld fanboy. They make nice stuff. The ruckus shorts are my favorite.

    Royal makes good shorts too.

Yeah we've got some great riding right now but I'm about to hate myself for 4 months come June. Probably going to put some serious miles on the truck heading up North regularly.

They bitch no matter what the weather is. But yeah, as grateful as I am for the Tarheel Trailblazers, they close the trials if you sneeze on them.

Yea had to send off my rear shock to get rebuilt. Was spewing fluid everywhere so I'm missing some riding right now. I'll be back on south mountain soon. If you ever want to ride pm me since 90% of my rides are solo rides.

TLD has a customer for life in me. Their stuff fits me so well, and lasts forever. The skyline long sleeve jersey is soooo good. And the ruckus and skyline shorts are awesome. Their sprint ultra pants are excellent as well.

Umm... At least the snow will be awesome!

And all this talk of comedy and NO ONE mentions Letterkenny?

    I wouldn't call Letterkenny a sitcom though...
