You better get rid of that video. The pitchforks and torches are going to come rallying against you! We can talk about ANYTHING except “Are see” in here. For some reason it REALLY twists the panties of the some of the members.

 

I think the fact there was only 6 deaths out of 135+ vehicles (numbers from TXDOT last night via dfw scanner) is a pretty good testament to modern safety standards/equipment in cars. Either that or just sheer dumb luck.

 

Nobody needs to see me in skinny jeans, therefore I do not own any.... It's not good...

 

There comes a point in time where all jeans become skinny jeans.

I kept replaying the videos i saw in my head, couldnt unsee them. Was thoroughly surprised there were no explosions.

Or maybe ive seen too many Micheal Bay movies

Same for me... Hard to put into words how I feel about all of that...

I litereally had that same conversation with a guy here at work yesterday. Modern safety standards for sure.

 

I think what makes the videos even more surreal is that pretty much all of us have driven that stretch of road many times.

 

That stuff yesterday was patchy. It was the same here in Burleson. I'd be rolling along just fine, then hit a patch in the most random spot. It was like that all over town. Now, there wasn't as much traffic, and we weren't going nearly as fast. It's not fair to compare, but just with those little spots I can see how that mess got outta hand. It all happened so fast! Before they could get the traffic stopped, there's 100+ cars and trucks all wadded up in a pile. Nothing anyone could do. Sliding on ice is one of the most helpless feelings...

 

Did you happen to catch the pileup that happened in Georgia yesterday? That one turned into a fireball.
