    I don't think Tacomas come stock with them. Don't know if a molded aftermarket hood insulator, but there are DIY offerings, like those from Dynamat.

    I have questioned if the hood insulator from the 4runner would fit, since it seems the under side of the hood is similar to the Tacoma's.

    Haven't been able to confirm this myself though.

    minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
    I will do insulation for all three factors. Temperature main priotity for me.

    The service manager from my dealership told me the 4Runner hood insulator is compatible with our Tacos. I haven’t bought one yet. Maybe worth looking into.

    For me, it is constant changes in temps that affect the overall longevity of the paint on the hood.
