I don't wear a ring, I'm not really sure how my stock knob got so scratched.

Sounds reasonable, if not a lot of people want to spring for Ti, it's for the best to not get yourself too deep on that :)

For me, if it were to work out, I'd opt for the straight Ti knob :spending:

At this point, barring you getting a visit from the Ti fairy, my current specs would be the Ti with the copolymer ring (knurled), engraving #8 (maybe 9, that one is growing on me), and collar engrave A (trd).

Throw the ball into my court with the email order, and just leave me with your PayPal or Venmo address + postal code. I will take care of the rest to ensure accuracy before payment (or deposit).

Hi Rick. These things are gorgeous! One of these will be the perfect topper to my RC62F swap project.

I’m just now finding this thread. Looks like at just the right time as well.

Question. Is this the delrin? Or something someone had coated?

Also, on the collar, can we mix up the engraving there? TRD on one side and the old school logo on the other?

That is Delrin/Copolymer yes. Also, yes to the mixing and matching, easily done.

    Awesome. Thanks for the info.

I'd love to do one of the metal knobs. Would probably go Ti. However, I live in PHX. It gets super hot inside cars here in the summer. The idea of a 165 degree titanium knob is not appealing. Any input on knobs for guys that deal with severe heat?

The copolymer knob was originally developed for a customer in AZ (maybe NV?) specifically for the heat, so definitely that one.

Sounds good! OE threads are actually M12 x 1.25 though, don't want to confuse anyone following along.

I've had 6 order requests today via email, lol.

PSA! No orders are being taken until 2/15 as explained through the link at the top of the first post. The details being discussed in this thread over the past few days were not orders, they were only to answer order questions ahead of time (before I'm running around with my hair on fire).

    Thank you.
