Picked up my second Benchmade. A 940-1. Beautiful knife.
I am perplexed about its locking mechanism. If I open the knife with a strong wrist snap it will lock up in the open position, requiring great force to unlock it. I’m hoping it will smooth out with use. Meanwhile, I’m refraining from wrist snapping the knife open.

Sit and watch tv and just open and close the knife. That will do a lot toward loosening it up.

The Benchmade Osborne is smoothing out nicely. It's a keeper.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
One of my favs right there. I had the rescue version of that knife. I have cut thru some seriously strong webbing with one of these.

Probably the least useful knife, in the utilitarian sense, that I have. Great for stabbing and slashing. Not much else.

I got a Spyderco Para 3 with a titanium deep carry clip. I'm always looking for new knives, but I can't ever find a reason to replace the Spyderco. It's seriously the best knife. The metal on the blade to the point to the action. Love the thing.
