I really like to burn .023 and .025. I do sometimes use .030 but it uses a lot more of my welder's overhead and really isn't necessary since you wouldn't want to do single pass on a 1/4 joint unless you could slow down for penetration.

No more than 2.5k for a dead LX. If its stock with AHC and never had arms and link bushings replaced, maybe less.

Such timely information. I've got some 1/4 joints to do here on this bumper. I'm going to practice and preheat first but I might try smaller wire too.

When you can casually PUSH your puddle at a slow and steady speed with smaller wire it's really nice cause it just walks all that heat forward with you.

It's downright amusing to me how many brands of roof racks there are for 2nd/3rd gens that have basically copied the Prinsu design since it became so popular. Just saw another new brand one pop up today.

I'm all for casual. My going in plan was to just do multiple passes, but I hadn't actually tried anything yet, hence the practice.

Good thing I just bought a new roll of .030

And for the most part, it's just aluminum extrusion -

I will say it's convenient as hell having different mounting points to attach stuff.

I just think its funny that all these brands aren't even trying to come up with a different overall design, I mean I get it...if it works it works. But a lot of them especially the 3rd, 4th, 5th brand to come up with one...are just changing tiny details here and there to avoid a lawsuit lol.

ah hell no, not that thing...and I don't think the Prinsu design looks very good on a 1st gen Tacoma. It looks better if it spans the cab and across a shell, like how it does on the T4R. If I were to do it over to try and make the roof useful, I'd just do the two rails on either side like what Toyota offered as an option for a little while way back when.

Oh yeah, kids shows and especially older children's books are real dark sometimes. We have a whole library basically of old kids books in my daughter's room...reading some of them to her at night, even I'm like "whoa what the fuck..." lol.

Like the OG Little Mermaid book (non Disney version), she has to try and kill the Prince in his sleep to earn her voice back. Her sister's approach her and give her a knife and tell her to murder him in his sleep

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
What does it look like? Any rust? Is it worth an engine? How much could it bring if it had a working engine?

Is there anything on it that will sell in a part out. If it has some valuable parts, $800 to $1,000. The front diff, transmission, and xfer case could be sold. The electric master cylinder and AHC components most likely have some salvage value.

May I recommend this German classic that was read to my mother and myself as kids.

Here's a free version since its no longer copyright.

I still have the family cloth bound version... also it is scarring. I still have the pictures and the stories visible in my head. Good lessons, but traditional German presentation.

Uh yeah I won't be able to unsee that fucking scarecrow now or whatever it is lol.

We have this random Japanese children's book in her room, no idea where it came from...but it's equally weird.

An elderly couple regrets not having a son, so one day the old woman fishes a peach out of a river and inside she finds a baby boy. He grows up and becomes the town hero for slaying all these monsters that have been ruling over the village. Like wtf
