    Morning :hattip:

45° heavy rain and under a High wind warning

Got woke up a little while ago by very strong winds and hail . It was strong enough it scared Gizmo and he was running thru the house meowing loudly

At work I'll watch Sanford & Son and All in the Family on YouTube. The younger guys are surprised that this stuff was on TV.
Did I forget to say that I do this on my breaks :D

In addition to shows like S&S, My wife and I has been watching reruns of shows like Barney Miller and the old Match Game from the mid 70s on YouTube. It is quite risque and Gene Rayburn was quite the hound with the ladies. None of that would get on a network today and Rayburn wouldn't have a job. He was genuinely good and talented though. We watch these shows because there isn't much on tv today that is going to get me to laugh.

My father hated that show. He loved S&S, All in the Family, Barney Miller, Mash, etc.

That show wasn't a favorite in our house either.

For all of the old shows download Pluto TV. It's a free internet TV service with a bunch of old shows.

Friend I shoot with and travel around the Upper Midwest to attend Sporting Clay shoots and I always look for the most out of the way rural dinners when we travel. Always the best food. Biscuits and gravy homemade of course and hashbrowns. Locally laid eggs. Homemade pies. Just the basic staples. And they don't have organic grass fed beef or buffalo farts on the menu. Beef and pork are usually from the packing plant up the road a bit. Great now I am hungry!

I'm with you Dan! Have almost 300 pounds of ice melt in the garage for when the time comes. But can wait for it and hope don't need it. But when I do am ready. Well kind of would rather skip the ice.

Was stationed in Bremerton for a couple of years in the very early 80's. Black ice was treacherous but almost never got snow around the Sound. I loved the area and could find Steelhead running 12 months out of the year someplace. Caught a 44 pound King on a #8 wt. flyrod on a small River there. Did I mention I loved the area?! The Cascades drool and the Olympics rule :p

My favorite commercial from back then you never left the TV when it came on, because it never got old.

That commercial brings back memories. We really love it here. Fishing is what I spend most of my off time doing. So many places to fish and so many varieties to fish for. If I want warm water browns I head east, salmon or halibut I go west. If I’m just hungry for rainbow I head 10 minutes down the road and fish a local lake. One of the main reasons we have stayed so long.

There is a little out of the way diner here that serves salt fish, pan fried chicken etc..cant beat it. and most peoples garages are bigger than Harrys Lunch. had like 8 tables. me and the buds would go there and get bowl of pintos, raw onion on them and buttered homemade bread to sop up the juice.and a beer

So I'm almost sure I make the best bacon/egg/cheese sandwich in the world. People knock on my door at night...(lie) Anyway I use a bacon press that is actually round. It's the bomb. Perfect bacon every time and flat as a metal ruler.
    Zim
Disclaimer; I cut my bacon in half, and freeze the other. (fits the bread better) This press was a pig. I had to grind off the tail and ears to fit the pan. Shit happens.
