My order delivered today. Granted I’m an hour south of their shop but happy to see they had inventory beefed up prior to the sale. I ordered the raw aluminum front skid and quality is great. Can’t wait to get it installed! Thanks to Mike for setting this up.

I believe the discount is only for products that they make.

    Whole lotta stuff
I like to put an extra coat of paint to protect the steel from rust. If you use your skids, you’ll know what I mean. I’m thinking more along the lines of a metallic grey now to match the truck.

I'm planning on redoing my sliders in fluorescent orange when I eventually get it around to it. I think bright colors look awesome when you're out wheeling. The gray will look sharp too, but at the same time... Rock and roll that bright yellow dude. I support it

well since aluminum will not rust like the steel, if you do decide to have them powder coated it will be mostly for aesthetics
although aluminum will oxidize, that is actually in part what helps it be so corrosion resistant

If you just drive dirt and gravel roads maybe some light farm work, aluminum is fine and it does resist corrosion a lot longer than steel plus it's lighter. If you do actual off-roading, save the money and buy the steel then spend what you saved on powder coat.

I do light offroading a lityle more than gravel roads. I live in NY and was concerned with steel rusting with the road salt and brine they put on the road, thats i was going to go w aluminum

I live in St. Louis and drive DOT. Talk about salt and chemical exposure.... Sti running steel. They actually hold up really well. Powder coat isn't bad either, even with me beating the snot out of them while wheeling

I can't see very well from the pictures, but could someone please inform me if it is possible to change your engine oil filter and also engine oil without removing the RCI skid plate?
