As @crashnburn80 noted, Cibie Super Oscars are absolutely huge. The massive reflector is a very efficient method of throwing a lot of light a long way, and the size lends to a unique aesthetic effect (could be a pro or con, personal preference). There is a catch, though: there are very real implications for disrupting airflow to the radiator if mounted carelessly. I don't have any input on impacts to coolant temperature yet, since my previous picture is just a mock-up to test fitment. I have a few remaining tasks to complete before I'm ready to actually install them.

I have a pair of Hella Rallye 4000's behind the grille. 8.75" diameter. I think that's the same as the Super Oscars.

I call BS and throw a flag for marketing fouls.

20,000 lumens from 32w with lasers. Baja's laser is 2,000 lumens at 60w. 10x the output at nearly 1/2 the power from a company no-one has ever heard of seems like a stretch. They are also $400/set vs Bajas $1000/ea, aka only 20% of the price. You know how the saying goes.

Also interesting, this company doesn't seem to exist (at least I can't find it) except as a brand sold specifically on Amazon. And looking at their product/company page the designs are pretty dated.
    https://www.amazon.com/stores/SPECIALLIGHTING/Homepage/page/4A82FEC3-780C-4459-A5EB-FAFF9DFB6020

I'm pretty confident those are nowhere near what they are marketed to be.

Oh its clearly BS. However they do seem to be packaging a small LEP lamp in with an otherwise off the shelf design. Or perhaps just as likely its a 5th LED and an aspheric lens. LEP lights are not inexpensive, even from alibaba and kaidomain.

Interesting the way their high tech "laser light" fades into oblivion at about the same place as the headlights.

I was just pointing out that the demo pics of their light look an awful lot like someone else's (square instead of round, and looks like pin fins in the back).

Where'd you dig up that old photo? Probably from my site...

Front bezels are now sharper and all of the brackets are black!

LOL, and the last photo of the back of the light definitely looks like Baja.

    Image URL says carid. :)

I think I kinda prefer the older round bezels, less busy looking maybe?

Just brought it up because it looks like these "laser lights" are using a demo pic of the SS3s.

Actually, @Gettin Lost , I’m thinking this might be a good spot for you for additional discussion of your lighting specifics and how to maximize any spending?

Granted I believe your order is already in for new fog lights and that’s always a nice thing but I’m wondering if some of the team here might have good additional perspective.

I haven't ordered fogs yet... I don't use fog lights for fog...

I live in the country... Lots of long roads with speed limits of 60-65mph, no stores, no lights, woods on both sides of the road and LOTS of deer and other wildlife. The fog lights tend to shine to the sides more and help watch for animals running out.

So I'd much rather some brighter fogs with a good spread, but without spending $500 bucks or adding extra ditch lights.

Hmm... I’m inclined to say that you don’t need a fog light at all then. Maybe a combo pattern light that will provide a little bit of light off to the sides, but the majority of the effort is down the road. Stock headlights?
