decided to run a few errands in town, just got back. light snow all day and roads are starting to get a little dicey. I haven't had Toy out since last weekend and with the cold he was not happy...he did start though! Casserole in the oven now and I got a roast to make either tomorrow or Sunday - don't plan on leaving the house for the foreseeable future!

Wife called hysterical today. Her boss, our long time friend, and family physician passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. We are in shock and working through a deep level of grief. He was strong, and healthy, had a deep faith in the Lord and never let anything get in the way of his patients. He would often spend 30 + minutes with me or my boys making sure we were fully cared for, even though it would put him behind in his schedule, and then take time to pray with us before we left the room. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He was set to retire at the end of the month. Just turned 67...It just doesn’t make sense...my heart aches for his family.

Typical. They should do hand to hand fighting in the parking lot, and send all the truck parts and pieces to me.

thought i'd keep warm with the oven on for dinner...and i put my flannel sheets on my bed today so i'll be nice and cozy tonight!

For you older folks. Samsonite Suitcase is older than me, 66 years old. It's called the weekender LOL. I've got a set I've collected over the years and they're beautiful. Always get comments at the hotels from folks my age. Leaving in the morning. Y'all be safe and I'll see ya later.

There's already too few doctors in the world. Mine passed away about a month ago after fighting Covid for three weeks. He was a great guy too. Sorry to hear about yours.

I think that no matter what the place was , my dad only got a coffee and a muffin/doughnut and always called it a coffee shop. Old school? Can’t say for sure
