One of mine froze the end of November , I was too busy hunting and left the garden hose attached .

We got hit with more ice last night. I’m at the beginning of the hill country. Higher elevation than in town, colder temperatures. This isn’t going away. Already thousands without power, the lines on my street have dozens of large branches laying on them. 3-5” of snow and ice coming Sunday. We don’t have any infrastructure to deal with this.

 

Sucks bro, I was out of power for a couple weeks after a storm laid waste up on our mtn. Was so stoked to have my solar setup and battery array. At least I could play COD in short bursts

The city put out a video saying we should drip our outside faucets, wrap and trickle them when we hit 20. On the same page they say not to.

I’m still debating... might wrap them in non-LED Christmas lights.
