    This is pathetic...
I believe trail cams are in order for your spot along with a big sign that says no littering trail cams in use!

They have many hookups and owed favors.
If we do something for them I guarantee they will hook us up.
    Quid pro quo.
Besides the fire department is usually a bunch of bad asses and will enjoy our company at the least.
I'll help them do anything they need:thumbsup:

I am down for doing a cleanup day. And if we can get the blessings of the local cops, fire department, even better. I once had a discussion with a lieutenant in a north Jersey police department, regarding previously mentioned utility land. He basically said, “You don’t start a fire or make us come rescue you, and we won’t bother you.” If we hauled out a junked vehicle, in pieces of course, I bet they’d be pretty happy.

I doubt it would open the trails back up since it’s all private land but it would definitely help. Plus. Whether we can wheel on something or not I’m all for cleaning up.

edit to add: there’s a second sand pit not at the rock climb that had a second burnt out vehicle at this point.

Also down to help with a cleanup day but being private land I'd think we would have to talk to land owner's ..." Uh hi, we want to clean up your land, we didn't dump and burn the cars, really just trying to help." Sounds sketchy. I can donate tons of sawzall blades, got a few battery sawzalls and can run power tools from the bed. I'm in but might be a little rough around the edges to be having that discussion

And I agree it’s a bit of a tricky proposition when dealing with private land. But we can try. It’s an interesting problem.

Sorry to be old fashioned, but maybe we could do a zoom to have a real-time conversation about this? Maybe we plan for April?

What he means is to do a video conference to meet face to face over the computer to brainstorm on how this can be done and figure out how we can move forward with this idea.

I agree that using zoom in a casual conversation is weird!
So should we zoom this week? I can do Wednesday or Thursday night. 8pm?

It's not tough. It us just clicking on a link that is sent to you over email, typing in your name, and then click "join the meeting". You can do it on your phone as well.
