I took Subaru to court with this - and won. They paid big time. (like their vehicles, Hate the company)

I’ve heard a lot about Subaru and their shady practices. Supposedly they have warranty reps go to car shows and car meets. They pose as spectators and engage in conversation with Subaru owners (probably mostly STI owners) about all their mods then they take pictures of license plates and vin plaques so that they can void their warranty’s.

    Other end of the spectrum.

They can just say 'sue us' and have your truck submitted as evidence when it goes to court, as part of the process to prove the mod caused the failure.

Not trying scare anyone away from mods, just being devil's advocate.

anytime you install a none OEM parts your risking of voiding your warranty especially if it causes malfunction of the intended use or it causes other parts to malfunction.
