Wow that’s a lot. I wonder where Portland will get the snowplows to deal with all that.

its a combo of ODOT and the city of Portland maintenance bureau.

the water bureau also has a couple but as far as I know we haven’t been asked yet to help.

They won’t in our street. Lol. City of Troutdale may get to it after a few days.

Drove the wife into Hillsburrito at 0130 this morning. Cornelius Freddies had thick enough ice over the snow I could walk on it without breaking through. Brought her right back home. Didn't want to risk an ice event that stranded her out there.

I don't like driving on ice with stupid people around me making it 100 times harder to avoid fender benders.

Ugh we were supposed to go to the coast this weekend and can’t get in touch with the property management company about rescheduling. Now were debating whether to drive to rockaway beach which doesn’t seem wise or eating our $900 rental and staying home.

All dug out and ready to save people. That’s how much ice was on my truck this morning. Used a blow torch around the edges of the door just to get in my rig

When I was out yesterday it was a high percentage of Jeeps, Tacomas and lifted full size rigs. Then you also had the fast and furious civics & mini vans getting stuck. Looks like I got about 6-7 inches in my yard in the ‘Couv.

Damn, yeah that’s what I’ve been doing with an ice scraper. Only on the windows. Taking too long lol. I was hoping of hearing some magic formula that made it faster/easier

I usually brush off the snow around the drivers door and boil a pot of water. Fill up 2 yeti/hydro flask with boiling water and poor in on the door seals & wiper blades. Spent a few winters in the Rockies and have been witness to a couple broken off door handles from reefing on them with a layer of ice. Have a fun Saturday and stay safe out there guys!
