Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

We shared one with the Horses when I was very small .

I can`t say for others but I never peed in the tank .

We had a horse trough swimming pool when I was a kid, I loved it. I've tried convincing my wife we need one but for one thing those galvanized troughs have gotten trendy and expensive.

 

Yeah. I knew you were joking. I may take the optic to work on Monday and have a couple of guys look through it.

 

Turned the side lights on at the store so I’d know when the power came back on. About 10:00 saw it on.




Put welder up, opened store for less than an hour and it went back off.

Got welder back out, had to fix the shop door.





Looked out at goat lot, two trees down.



Wife is gone to her great aunts funeral in South Carolina. Time to feed the kids then I’ll fix the fence so the goats won’t get out

We all probably gonna go through this issues.
Went to move my 1T and batteries dead.

 

We’re gonna get a 8’ round poly tank, pump and filter, should be around $500. It better last longer than 3-4 years. I’m not too thrilled about doing this, but I’ve been outvoted 2-1.

 

It’s also cheaper than getting a retaining wall or having the back yard re-sloped!

I do think it will be fun. Filling, draining, and cleaning the 5’ wide by 8” deep kiddie pool every 2-3 days sucked last year!

 

Front yards a mess too.

 

Was looking out the window and saw these sitting on the mantle. Our sons first pair of workboots, my wife had them bronzed and gave them to me for my first Father’s Day

Goat fence is back up, while cutting the tree off I noticed the store lights back on. Generator gas cans full again and back in the store

 

My son ask was I going to clean the front yard up. I said no, when mom gets home from the funeral she’d be planing mine

Good day @six5crèéd, I just found this thread today! Looks like you are doing for your sons what my father did for me, being raised in the shop on the farm was the best. By profession, I'm an engineer in oil & gas (overhaul compressors/turbines/pumps), by passion - love spending time in the shop building seemingly random stuff!
