    Anyone done it?
Just got new headlights and want to protect them,
known about Opti Lens for a while now but never tried it
not sure if there's anything better out there
supposedly it's the thing to use

Great. Price went up from $50 to $70. Just like with everything else nowadays.

I'm unfamiliar with that coating specifically. But I do favor maintenance UV coatings, aka temporary coating that need to be periodically reapplied over permanet ones that eventually fail and sometimes take the headlight with it. Headlights suffer from UV breakdown and have OEM coatings to resist UV. Depending on where you live UV can be more or less of an issue, so the additional protection may or may not be warranted.

Meguiars makes a spray that's like a clear UV paint. You can do two sets with one can. It works well.

I used a ceramic coating, typical 30ml bottle was enough for the painted metal surface and all windows + headlights. Didn't have enough for fender flares and front bumper
