Sweet. The skid is flush mounted to the tube frame isn’t it?

Notice a power steering leak when I working on the LCAs. Took it to shop to help diagnose. New rack and tie rods needed. Just paid to have them do it. Hurt the wallet. Pushes back bumper and skids I wanted til later this year but front suspension and steering pretty much new now I guess is a bright spot.

Same my lca fixed my issue, had a frozen cam tab and one left loose. They used a moog kit with a greaseable lca cam bolt. How much was a rack and new tie rods?

$1200 with labor. I watched videos on doing it myself but seemed more than I wanted to take on. Worried I may not get it right and end up at the shop either way.

Dang did they use oem parts? Yea I thought about doing rack bushings but was worried about busting the clock spring. At least you know it’s good for awhile.

I wrapped it up for the day. Still got a bit to do, may touch it a little tomorrow

this is what I started with haha doing all fluids, replacing upper ball joints, uca bushings, lower spherical bushings for my front shocks, idler pulley bearings, sc belt, wheel bearings, spark plugs, fuel and air filters, windshield washer fluid pump, clean MAF and TB, and grease all zerks

Larry's pistol and pawn in Madison would be the biggest place up here. Kind of a drive for you.
