    In that case;

House this year, hoping. We're on a few lists for new development. We have money for down payment and closing costs saved.

Wedding next year in October. Save $500 per month each for the next 20 months.

    Conceive next year in September.

We're going to put down a deposit this coming Tuesday if we really like the venue. It'll be about $17K all said and done for 170 people.

That's not for the wedding, it's for the gender reveal.

If youre smart, you only burn down as much of the state as you can afford.

Man o_O that's 17k just for the venue? Plus catering and photography and all the other extras... that makes my head spin:(

But im a cheapass and would do a courtroom wedding for 50 bucks so my opinion doesn't matter lol.

I do know from having a florist in the family, don't say wedding.. call it a family reunion or graduation or something. The word wedding automatically makes everything more expensive just because

Sweet sorghum is supposed to have a high energy yield if properly processed and distilled. It needs to be rolled and squeezed in the field to make beer. Then the beer would be transported to a distillery for conversion to fuel.

Same. Small event, and a kick-ass honeymoon would be the plan here, and maybe outside plans with some of the would-be guests. Been to enough weddings that I just don't like the dynamic, nobody really gets enough time with the bride and groom doing it the normal way these days.

Naw the venue...I forget, we have it all written down and saved on an excel sheet on a shared drive..is about $13k?

We've added the separate costs of food, and other items including invitations even.

That's why we'll have $20k saved up for a total expected cost of under $17k, to be safe.

I want to see where cellulosic ethanol goes. Finally we could do something with all these useless grass clippings

I liked the 2 covid weddings I was in versus all the ones pre-covid with hundreds of people. With covid and the 50 person caps on events, the people getting married only want the people they actually care about there to celebrate. Both were way more relaxed and casual and less like you were putting on a show.

Interesting! In south America they convert sugar beets into ethanol and run a very large percentage of their Ag equipment off of it. I only know this because I used to have Brazilian customers by service parts for stihl chainsaws from me and ship em south

My sister got married last year during covid. Not inviting all the peoples kids who dont eat the expensive wedding food you buy for them was awesome.

Heck, my buddy's reception was for his and her parents and the bridal party only. Everyone there agreed it was great compared to buying dinner for 100 people you havent seen in 10 years.

That makes total sense, many years ago I was in my brother's wedding and there were maybe 35 people there? Much better environment and more enjoyable than some of the grand weddings I've sat through

I've been waiting all afternoon for a call from Turbotax. When I finally received a call all I could hear was someone breathing and scratching the phone. Very troubling. I'm kind of pissed off about that. I think I need to go look them on FB and raise hell with them.
