Truck is done. Finished up the front end tonight. Took me and a buddy just over 3 hours. It drives so nice. Getting an alignment tomorrow. Truck sits with just a slight rake. Be interested to see where it settles.

I figured he was referring to the u-bolt bottom bracket but didn’t want to assume.

This is Option 2. Weight in the bed is a Dometic fridge and a light range loadout (few rifles, few hundred rounds of ammo and other range necessities). Estimate puts me just around 500lbs and I retained 2 inches of lift or so. If you're really at 600lbs, option 2 with stock suspension should keep you from squatting. I didn't need new brake lines, but I would probably throw some 5100's in the back to help with the dampening.

    200lbs - Topper
    120lbs - Tent
    50lbs - Fridge
    40lbs - Rack
    100lbs - Range gear

And here it is without the tent... maybe a half inch taller or so.

This is exactly what I’m looking for. Really appreciate it, thank you.

Other than the leafs, is there anything else you upgraded to on the suspension? Or is that also a stock set up?

I'm interested in the rxt leaf pack as an alternative to my stock leafs plus single Deaver AAL I have right now. My current set up rides fine but with my 2.5" front lift I sit level basically and a little low on the back when I tow my boat or load up with camp gear, or especially both.

Can anyone tell me if I'd be able to get some rake back with option 1 or 2 with these leaf packs? I'm sorry I don't have measurements but I believe the AAL I currently have got me about 1.5". TIA.

Yes, I have Bilstein 8112's up front, set to approx. 2in of lift and Bilstein 8100's in the back. Looking back at my measurements, with the tent installed on the topper, unloaded bed and Icon option 2, I'm 2in taller in the back then when the truck was completely stock with no weight. In basic terms, with the tent I have nearly the exact same rake as stock, which I like.

See my above response... Yes, you will. I gained exactly 1 inch of lift coming from a Headstrong 3-leaf AAL to the Icon option 2. With the topper and the tent I was starting to sag a bit in the rear. That type of setup just isn't made to handle the weight.

I was also looking at Headstrong’s 3-AAL as an option, so this really helps as well. You got me set on these now.

    Thanks again!

Thanks for the response. I've got OME nitrocharger shocks front and back, and as for the combo of those and the rxt leaf packs I was wondering also if there is a risk of bottoming them out because I've read these leaf packs have a lot of droop. I don't know the length on my rear shocks but they're not extended length or anything. I also don't off road except for a few exceptions so I may be over thinking the issue but I'm curious if you or anyone else can speak to this.

For those that are wondering here is a better view of the stance and posture of the truck with Bilstein 5100’s all around set to 0, OME 885 coils up front and RXT leaf pack set to Option 2 there is no weight in the back of the truck right now. Stock UCA’s with a new alignment within spec.

Looks good, you've got a decent amount of rake which is what I want. If you're not bottoming out your rear shocks using them with these leaf packs then I should be fine with my OME shocks as well. Worst case scenario I'll get some extended length shocks down the road.

I’m not bottoming out the new Bilsteins. Everything feels good. I think some of the rake will settle in the coming weeks.

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm experiencing the same thing with Icon Ubolts.

I did. I ordered 9/16" diameter ubolts from ATS Springs. Round, not square since i have a flip kit. Grade 5. Torqued to 82 ft/lbs. No problem since.

Thanks for the response. I wonder what size u-bolts come with the ICON leaf pack? I might just try the 82 ft/lbs torque first.

I'm currently running the Tundra 2.5 fox w/ DSC rears, RXT in option 2 and an empty bed. I've been debating trying option 1. How do you like it? Any issues or concerns? How much lift do you have front and back?

I run the same set up but in option 1 with an empty bed most of the time.
It rides really good and I set my adjusters to firm it up a little for daily driving then firmer for carrying loads.
I’ve hauled several loads and it has settled a little since my install.
Originally had 2 1/2” over stock but settled to 2” which is perfect for me.
Currently at 23 front and 24 rear.

That's awesome. The only thing that's kept me from going to option 1 is the concern or flattening out the packs when towing. I read on here that someone flattened out their packs by hauling some camping gear and a ATV trailer. I'm going to try option 1 if it settles to 2" of rear lift I'll be happy.

How heavy were the loads you carried? Did it sag a lot when carrying those loads?

If I had to guess the last load was 5 8’ 4X4 post
    36 wood fence pics
    10 8’ 2x4’s
5 60 lb gs of cement
Shovels, all my tools, saws screw guns etc.
Large electric snake for the sewer
    Extension cords
    Screws and other materials
    So at least 550 lbs.
If you are constantly carrying heavy loads or towing or both at the same time I’d stick with option 2.
But option 1 has been good so far for me.
