Not here yet, or at least when I went to the office.

Ya, hopefully the pool keeps running with no issues.

Is looking for ginny, where were those at?

It's important not to confuse peak and running watts, 6500 running watts ideal/minimum, which puts the generator rating at 8,000+ peak watts. 90% of the generacs that we installed were 10k units.

Yup, everyone will rate thier potetial risks/scenarios differently.

If I was going to prioritize with a choice of a fixed back up power or safe room.
I would think back over the years...how many times would I rather had access to a safe room or needed emergency power? hands down, it would be a safe room.

I've always wanted to have a safe room like a reinforced pantry or something similar. Texas has more nado's than any other state.

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA and all! We never cleared 29* yesterday, and it's 26* now. Going to drop the rest of the day as well. This is the overnight that has me worried, and Monday night. Nothing you can do, so another coffee, and it's pancakes time.

Nothing visible here - seems to have just been frozen mist overnight. Looks shiny and slippery, but not coated thick.

We have ice on the cooking area and some flakes off from the palms on the table but the cement is still wet as the ground is not frozen. I can tell the clover up front is frozen..:bananadance:, but overall nothing too bad yet.

That does suck. How big is your property?
I hate losing trees around here, they take forever to grow to begin with.
