What's all this talk of staying inside don't y'all drive Tacoma's? I'll be out pulling ppl out of their bad driving habits

 

Here's the thing. I've driven on snow and ice before. I know what that's about. My neighbors however, have not. So while I'm confident that I can stop at each red light, it's every other yahoo out there that's trying to buy taquitos and flowers that I don't trust.

My Tacoma with my 3-peak rated tires is gonna stay locked up in the garage for as long as I can get away with.

If you go out, protect yourself. Especially if you get out of your truck roadside. Head on a swivel, don't let yourself get pinned between bumpers.

when you get old, today is more of a "lets work on 223, 308, and 300 BO" kinda day., than a "lets go pull people out of a ditch" kinda day.

 

Looks more like beef salad than beef nachos... Don't get me wrong, I would be all over that, and asking for seconds....

this is the view from my bedroom balcony when i got up this morning. looks like lake michigan instead of a lake in texas...

And it's too bad, this kind of snow has some nice traction to it. But this is as far as I'm going. Might walk around the neighborhood later though.

 

its 17 degrees but the birds and squirrels still showed up...

 

That's my view. I went out yesterday morning when the ice was all over and saw multiple stupid in publics. The brodozers and jeeples were very well represented.
I went out yesterday because I had to. I'm not going out today unless I have to.

 

Working on roller locks and an M24 today.

 

Those are some really plump birds in that crock pot.
