I'm getting the tool from @WrecklessAbandon on the 20th.

That does sound like a fun project day. I'm down to organize people if you are offering your skills/tools and a place to do it.

Update on the switch to the 4runner. It’s a pile of crap. I had the entire sunroof assembly pulled out last night, taken apart, cleaned, lubed, put back together then reinstalled it. Kept the button unplugged so it can’t get all fuggered up again, then put the headliner and side panels back in. Was up until 1am getting it fixed. It’s also got a check engine light. The heat is stuck on hot (was cold) after hours of diagnosing and flushing the heater core cursing and groaning. There’s a servo that had gone bad keeping the air on cold only. I have washed abd scrubbed the green dew off all the cracks and surfaces from the exterior. Shampoos and vacuumed out all the mold on the inside. The brakes are warped, it pulls to the right on braking and there’s a rotational vibration coming from somewhere.. :(

Man it’s dumping. Got high centered a bit on my way up to Boardman Lake TH off Mt Loop. Got to appreciate some winching practice to get myself turned around lol... four trees were needed to get me turned around. Aired down this shit would not let me go through it without the momentum I had on my way up. There was an unoccupied white third gen there that wasn’t present hopefully they’re all good. Anyway first several hours of adventure this morning were uneventful until that lol; have fun, but stay safe out there!E354C92C-1F82-48AF-9A59-3CACA68ECD5C.jpg6846F5BE-90D3-4ACC-BB5E-C42AB16BDA9A.jpg

I have no idea how I saw no one in the ditch on my way to Mt Loop from Lake Stevens.

You need armor all the way around. I pulled out a few people in Newcastle and been ripping around most of the day. Good time

Green mountain is probably the closest. Tayuha is another good area that's not to far

I've done brakes on my friends 2004 at least 4 times. Calipers seized every time. I guess you can put in 5th gen brakes instead.

yep, i did the 5th gen upgrade when i first got the GX. original brakes were terrible. every time id stop, the steering wheel would violently shake back and forth. have had the new brakes for 4 years now and have been great
