I have three trailers I use and do a lot of towing with max loads. What is the main use for your trailer and what are some lesser uses?

Yes, the P5CAM612LPD is a 11960 GVWR. I was targeting a twin axel to help with the tongue weight. Trailer inexperience, trusting a salesman and excitement all contributed to a bad decision. Really disappointed and hope I can sell this trailer.

    Moving a Kubota LX2610 ~2300lbs with loader (once / twice a year)
Moving Zero Turn PZ60 mower ~1,200lbs (often)
Getting mulch ~2 or 3 yards (dry mulch) (small landscaping projects - 10 times a year)
Getting half loads of wall or patio ~1,500 - 2000lbs (not often)
Taking yard debris to the dump (brush and clippings)
Small loads of top soil (1-2 yards)

Trailer options crossing my mind are. Will target twin axels :

Two of my trailers have dual 3500lb axles. One is a 6x20 flatbed(1300lbs) which I use for hauling timbers from the sawmill and a 6x16 float(1800 lbs) with ramps which I use for hauling my B2650 Kubota w/loaded to some jobsites.
Can you take that trailer back to where you bought it and plea with the manager? Maybe trade it in on something more suitable.

Something like the first one but with solid or mesh sides and two 3500 lb axles.
Make sure the ramp can handle the tractor weight.

I plan to go back tomorrow to discuss options. It came home Friday at 5pm and was washed to get any road salt off. So it’s unused at this point. I hope the owner will work with me on a trade or to sell it. He sells a lot of trailers (Cam Superline). After speaking with everyone it’s clear the trailer must be sold / traded for something else. Terrible decision on my part.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
This is what I chose to haul my Kubota BX-2380:
    https://www.bigtextrailers.com/35sa-single-axle-utility
It would not be very handy for loose material or stuff utilizing the dump feature.

EDIT: Your LX is about 350 lbs heavier than my BX (dry, assuming Kubota's numbers are accurate). My BX WITH loaded tires and the mower deck, wet, tips the scales at just about 2,000 lbs. Your LX is gonna be closer to 2,500 lbs (with deck, no FEL). Your trailer needs to be around 1,500 lbs empty and will need electric brakes - this will put you towing something around 4,000-4,500 lbs depending on the weight of the FEL. Exceeding this would be well past my comfort zone.

I’d recommend selling the truck based on your stated needs.

I agree it's a laughable situation. Really stupid on my part, really not happy about it.

If the shysters won't help, try selling yourself, if they're moving, I'm sure someone would love to save a few hundred bucks on a new-used.

I would go straight to the manager and let him/her know you specifically asked about this issue.

Stay calm and professional, management may respond. Did they have the title and sign it over to you? If not, maybe they haven't even submitted the paperwork with the state? I don't know how your state works,,, they're all different.

Maybe have our new friend @farmtacoma go slap em around!

    Good luck man

    Hello hiPSI and the forum,

I have good news; I visited the trailer place at 8am sharp this morning and reviewed my concerns with the owner. I also noted some of the comments received on this forum from Tacoma owners. After reviewing my concerns, the owner offered to take the trailer back at no charge. He noted that the paperwork hadn’t been sent into the state yet, so a return was no problem at all. After discussing my intended usage for the trailer, we reviewed some tandem axle utility trailers with steel mesh ramps. I’m going with a tandem axel (with breaks) utility trailer 7’x14’ (width 81.5") with tube uprights and top rail. The trailer has a 1700lb empty weight and a max payload of 5,300lbs. The frame is 3x2x1/4: angle steel. I need a minimum of 72" wide to get the zero turn mower with side fan on the trailer for transport, so the 81.5" is perfect!

So, looking at the usage and numbers this is what we have now.

    Zero Turn PZ60 – trailer 1700lbs and mower ~1200lbs – Total 2,900lbs

    Kubota LX2610 with loader – trailer 1700lbs and tractor ~ 2300lbs – Total 4,000lbs

Mulch – trailer 1700lbs and mulch load (three yards max) estimated 1500lbs – Total 3,200lbs

I have attached a photo of the trailer for the forum to review. It’s the same brand as the dump trailer (Cam Superline) and appears to be good quality. Let me know what you think? I really appreciate and thankful that I asked the question regarding my dump trailer. The dealer had a 5’ x 8’ single axle dump trailer, unfortunately it’s too small to load a mower or tractor and didn’t have ramps. This utility trailer is also much less when compared to the Cam Superline 12’ low profile dump trailer. Almost 1/3 the cost, so that's good too.

Thank you everyone for pointing me in the correct direction. I have learned a lot the past several days and appreciate the help. I will post a picture of this new trailer tonight when it comes home. If you guys disagree with this trailer let me know ASAP.

Good job getting that lined out, it has to be a huge relief.
That set up looks great to me. One thing- make sure that mesh ramp can fold flat against deck if when not in use. I had a trailer and never thought of this, and or course it could not. An upright mesh ramp like that becomes a parachute to underpowered trucks. My big old Yukon didn't mind, but it was taken and much more powerful. One trip we used my buddy's Trailblazer, and it was struggling over 70, and we only had two light race bikes on it.
