It's 3 degrees and blowing snow here and it's not supposed to get much warmer today. Brrrr!

Same on the off road racing. My BIL and nephew do a lot of downhill racing and occasional motocross so I'll watch those as well.

I can't remember what we have at home but I think we had a country brand prior that's nice. Glass front and heats amazing.

Ordinarily a fireplace isn't the greatest for heating because most of the heat goes up the chimney but this one is vented so that helps...a lot. Both sides of the fireplace are hollow around the firebox and air is drawn in at the bottom of the hearth and comes out just below the mantle piece. When the fire gets good and hot a lot of warm air flows through those vents. Plus the whole north wall of the living room is brick and once it gets heated up it radiates heat for a long time.

 

For VD we rearranged the bedroom if you know what I’m sayin!
