Scouting report from around the house is that the ice is DECEPTIVELY everywhere! Those sheet I put over the flower bed are now a colorful candy shell! Everything still dripping, and the garage is holding 45*. Can't get between the greenhouse and shed, because it's just slick, but the thermometers tell me it's 40* in the shed, and 45* in the greenhouse. We've dropped to 24* too.

I'll have to look up the name of the place. It's a "used" tool warehouse near Cibolo/Schertz. Everything I've ever got there was brand new with either messed up original packaging or replaced packaging. Tools are almost all brand new.

Last night was busy! One fire engine flipped on its side (thankfully no one was hurt) and at one point in time all SAFD ambulances in service were on calls at the same time. Fire crews were criss crossing all over the city.

Hopefully tonight is better.

I have a Ryobi drill and impact. I abuse the hell out of the impact and it doesn't seem to care.

That's rime ice, it was freezing as it fell and fully froze after it landed leaving tiny air pockets in it.
