Havnt figured it out yet but I suspect it's the ignition switch

Bad terminals will also do that

 

I have 3 lol. I put mine in that same spot for every trip. Would be nice to get a lockable tool bin for that spot though some day

Well I mentioned that too, about anti theft.

You won't have a clutch start cancel since you're a 5 lug.

It'd be located on the far left under the vent.

 

Clutch start cancel is the button to the left of the steering wheel on the dash.

I dunno if 5 lugs get it, its meant as a way to start the truck in gear without pressing the clutch so you don't risk rolling backward and off a cliff or something. The 4x4 manuals all have it

 

Mine has one, next to interior light dim switch

I guess any manual vehicle could benefit from it, starting on a SF city hill with a car parked on your ass for instance lol.

 

Yeah anti theft I know it has a built in kill if the alarm isn't deactivated but I can't lock and unlock it. Maybe a fuse within the alarm? I hate electrical gremlins man smh

 

I never use mine, heard it puts a lot of strain on the starter... Dunno if that's true or not.

 

Lol anti-theft would've been my next immediate go to if a good battery and battery connection didn't help.
