Hahaha I now have 7 of them, I packed damn near my entire garage into them for my move from IL to NC. The are surprisingly water tight!

Something wrong with the 5-lug? How’s it been treating you, you hit 500k yet?

    The core makes it complex

They can't give you your old battery back and they won't take the 18 bucks value for it

I was barked at a few times for not selling to people who didn't need batteries

It's policy to not take batteries back once the terminals have been hooked up

I use that same action packer as my main bed toolbox. If I didn't have a shell I'd be looking into real tool boxes. I won't drill into the bed so I'd need to make some brackets.

Only thing wrong is the Pick N Pull battery I keep letting die :bananadead:. I haven't hit 500k cause I'm not using it atm. The GX is just too nice to give up as a daily.

It's the same one. I let it die and haven't been keeping up on the charge.

Thank you for verification on that, I understand. Just wanted to make sure someone wasn't just being lazy. I'm still lost on the truck tho, no idea how to disable the alarm

My 01 runner is the only vehicle I've never had an aftermarket alarm to rip out and it's never not started

That's not part of it, right? I'd need to look in the cab?

I can alarm and un alarm it with the fob just fine. I get a single click when I turn the key forward then the radio dims, if I hold it forward the radio stays off, then gradually turns on again.

That's all factory as intended except not cranking

Break the cover off the starter relay and touch the two contacts to get it to turn over

I'd used to do that with my runner at Pappa johns when I was replacing the trans on the Camry

Just thinking out loud here but did you check those battery terminals REAL good. I haven’t read all the troubleshooting you’ve done but you could have a crack in one and it’s not connecting well. Just thinking out loud.

How would u recommend, is it okay to give it a lil force? I was using a flat screwdriver on the two tabs as I could while pulling but didn't want to break anything. Looks like I'll be driving the mini cooper tomorrow to work and working on this after

Yeah the relays all have a locking tab that needs pressing back before they come out

Even when pried back need some persuasion

I noticed while trying to jump start that the battery symbol on the dash was flashing, normal too?
