Hey Quicksand fam! I have a Trd Sport, currently stock rims/AT tires with a 2.5 lift. Wanted to get some new wheels. I love the SCS dark Bronze SR8s, but a little worried about offset etc. I also really like the bronze icon vector 6. Any suggestions?

Agree, heres a question, can I go to 275 on stock sport wheels? any clearance issues with UCA?

 

i have heard yes, but mostly i hear no.
Im running 265/75/R16 on trd pro tacoma rims. No issues, looks great.
Now that i have just leveled my truck with Falcon shocks, and installed Freedom offroad uca’s, i am pretty confident that i can run 285’s.
I think once leveled and uca’s upgraded you could? Might have to run spacers too though- im not sure

 

I certainly agree with this, but proper offset and tire selection will minimize the cutting needed, so asking for suggestions is smart (especially in a more nuanced fashion). I installed 35x11.5s without doing 90% of the cutting I see in these threads and haven’t had any problems with rubbing while wheeling it.

NICE! Think i decided to go with some gunmetal MK6s and 275s. I think that should solve all issues im concerned with. thanks!

Got my Falcon sport/leveling shocks installed, as well as Freedom Offroad upper control arms, and Sumo Springs (replace factory bump stops and control body roll-prevent bottoming out when bed is fully loaded down).
Truck is level now, rides great, and already put the sumo springs to the test this last week and they made all the difference!
Highly recommend Falcon/Tera Flex shocks to anyone considering them.
Falcon does make lifting shock suspension kits, but i did not want to lift my truck, only level it. Im not a fan of lifted trucks if it isn’t really necessary.
