damn I just checked Ksat/CPS outages, there is a lot. I'm guessing your not part of rolling brown outs.

 

Fawns survived last night, they are looking for food, feeder doesn't go off until 8:30.
I will take more corn out and bucket of water here in a bit.

 

I covered her at 3am when I put more wood on the fire, she hasn't budged a bit.

 

Well still without power, we are part of the rolling outages thing. It was to come back on around 0530 according to the website but...

 

well there's no power in town either right now everybody running on back up power

 

That sucks, I noticed yesterday the house (3k Sq ft) temperature dropped 1* every hour and that was with the fireplace blazing

 

The problem is that folks are NOT doing this.

 

Glad to see the sun come out this morning.

 

Good Morning everyone SA! We have power, we seem to have survived, but I know the greenhouse hit freezing and below for several hours. Dang. Probably an even 3" on flat areas, I will go out and measure some spots in a while. 8* when we got up. That's never happened....

Don't even want to unwrap and see if there is anything I can do in this cold.


Drifted up to probably a foot in front of the little pond, but it's still pumping


The sun is coming out, so that's a good thing. And the birds are glad I filled the feeder yesterday!

Power went out last night for about 4 hours. Pipes froze. Attempting to regain control of the water supply now.
