I think it would look better if the cap was more square

I'd take some holiday pay. No one cares about dead presidents anymore, they're just not trendy I guess.

Bitchin'! At least the weather is good today I think right? Can't remember what we're looking at for weather anymore. They're basically shutting down San Antonio, Austin, and DFW for the weather down there. Bunch of bridges though so basically the whole highway through those cities is frozen. And with like one snow plow for the entire state, ruh-roh! I was talking to my friend from Maine. If Maine was hit with 3 inches, no salt, no shovels, no snow brushes, and almost no snow removal equipment, everyone in 2WD vehicles, and likely most people on summer tires - Maine (and everyone) would be in the same boat!

My favorite part about it being President's day and Washington's Birthday:

"George Washington was born in Virginia on February 11, 1731, according to the then-used Julian calendar. In 1752, however, Britain and all its colonies adopted the Gregorian calendar which moved Washington's birthday a year and 11 days to February 22, 1732."

I wouldn't say bragging more so F this cold BS.

yeah! crazy stuff. Imagine some poor bastard from Montana and his wife, after being quarantined for 2 weeks and going through the rigor, finally able to travel for the first time in years because their trip last year got jacked up, just wanting to get to the warmth in Austin for a week on a valentines day trip, they book all the tickets and get on the plane. They pack shorts and sandals and hawaiian shirts!

    ....SURPRISE! Same as Bozeman!

I am just imagining if that cold front had rolled in when my wife and I were down there last year, that would have ruined it. We wouldn't have wanted to walk around, check out things, walk/run the town lake trails etc.

Of course - next weekend they're already looking at 70s and sunny.

    Damn...

Years ago I worked for the Comm of Mass and the only month we didn’t have a state holiday was August.

My favorite was Evacuation Day that just so happened to fall on St. Paddy’s Day.

I think they’ve given some of those back in successive collective bargaining.

Yeah, none of my clients are working today, none of my jobs in MA are open.. I might actually get something done today!

Or I might just buy a lot of shit online today... jury is still out. So far I have an order in for some new base layer stuff from REI. Might need some new kicks... see how the day goes.
