Yep, transferred back from Japan and work in the area now. I frequently drive around, so that might have been me. Been a ghost town since the pandemic, but everyday jogs and bbqs and drinks at the beach helps get the mind off it.

Recently, noticed a lot have came over from Texas, lots of their State plates driving around. Might have something to do with the Cope North exercise.

 I've heard if this "winter" thing before - think I saw it on TV once. Yeah - we had a few days of upper-40's to low 50's, and that was it for winter down here. It's WAY too hot. Kayaked to the beach this weekend. Not a very "typical" mid-Feb activity for the other 95% of the country.

Yup...fold out of the way and tuck into the rails. Just be sure of two things: 1)The load bearing is VERY light: 100lbs max evenly distributed. 2) Depending on the year of your truck build/ OEM part number for the rails, that rear crossrail will sit on the shark-fin antenna and could damage it, the seal, or your roof. Not an issue for me because the rear rail won't be used.

The Lomax covers are a good option at half the price. I have the Lomax Stance. I was going to go with Retrax before I found them.

Parent company is https://www.agricover.com/ which also makes some rack systems.

So sell me on this shifter please. I know nothing about it other than it is a shorter throw I think. I may know nothing. Lol is it better than stock? I really don’t like how my taco shifts. Some say it’s a truck you will get used to it but other than motorcycles and quads all manual trans vehicles I have owned has been trucks and none of them shift like this truck. It is a very odd feel. At times it falls into gear and other times I’m not sure which gear it is going to drop into. Strange beast don’t get me wrong I wouldn’t trade it to an auto but still kinda quirky.

It's great! The core shifter is much more precise feeling.

Nice! I've been meaning to do the same myself. Can't stand the glare from the brake light at night. Did you do it with the shell still on the truck?
