Definitely not. Buuttt, new plan ain’t bad either. Tundra axle is on its way, gonna throw 5.29 gears with an e-locker in. Unfortunately gonna have to pull the front driveshaft for a bit until I can match the front gears. But after that... Howe ps pump is top of the list again

Which one did you go with, I'm assuming 1st gen since you're going 5.29s? I'm sourcing a D60 or going 9" probably 9 so that I can bump up to 5.29s.

2nd gen has 5.29 now as well. Plus added track width. 10.5” ring gear and 36 spline axles

Does anyone in SD have any 05-11 headlights? If you can deliver to the shop I will pay for that too, otherwise I can come pick up.

What are you going to do about the bolt pattern difference?

A quick search brought up wheel spacer adapters. Going to search for axles now.

Either run an adapter or have the axles drilled out to the correct bolt pattern and just press new lugs in. Preferably the second one.

Just so you are aware, the tundra axle trackwidth is about 2" wider than your +3.5" kit if you were to have the axles plugged and redrilled to 6x5.5. I currently have a 2nd gen tundra axle in my truck. Still working on the swap. You can see in my build thread.

It’s 2” wider than the +3.5” or 2” wider than the stock rear axle. Everything I saw was 2” wider than stock which would put it right where I want it.

Just consider the difference between my two measurements...currently with the tundra axle installed the distance from outside edge to outside edge of tire is 85"; my front is currently sitting at 83". Maybe your dirt king kit is wider than mine; not sure. My kit is the camburg +3.5 so 2" wider than my front setup. I plan on running a wheel with more backspacing and then install a wheel spacer up front just to keep scrub to a minimum; I knew this coming into the swap.

WMS for a tundra axle is 71.5-72".

Wasnt there two different versions of the 2nd gen Tundras? The ext cab was the skinnier OG stye while the double cab was wider? could that be the difference your seeing?
