    My gas mileage went down, but I wouldn’t blame that on your tune. Mine always goes down with winter fuel and zero degree temperature driving a truck with extra weight for traction in hilly terrain with cross-winds.

    If you have techstream working now, download the file that matches your ecu and double click the cuw file. It’s step by step with on screen instructions and you can’t install the wrong update as it won’t let you.

    Just got back from a round trip, Louisville Ky - Morristown Tn, about 500 miles of rolling hills of Ky to moderate hills in East Tennessee. I've had Kruiser 4.0 loaded for about 700 miles total so the tune is settled in nicely. This trip was 4 hours of interstate at 75-82, 4 hours of 4 lane 65-70, and a small amount of easy city driving, maybe an hour. On my OBDlink Interstate mileage in my total stock truck was 18.5 -19.0. 4 lane was 20.5-21. Not too shabby with winter gas! In the hills it would hold 6th, then downshift to 5th, but never went to 4th and my speed held steady between 60-65. The combination of Mooseditty's M+W response and the fine tuning of PapaRee, if I followed the creation correctly, has created the most satisfying tune for me, by a long shot. As I've said before, give either a try, you won't regret it.

    2019 OR auto, no gear update, stock tires, 04b33 ECU update - I started on 2.0 04B30 OV some improvement, updated to OEM tsb 04b33 big improvement then updated to 2.0 04B33 OV slight improvement maybe. Last week PapaRee sent me his version for 04b33 - even bigger improvement. I used the truck to tow about 3000lbs through mountain road this weekend and the truck is a lot better at towing without dropping multiple shift points and racing to 5K on inclines. Prior to the tsb update to 04b33 the truck was pain full to drive, the tbs update made the truck drivable, PapaRee's tune made the truck nice to drive! Thanks

    My last name is Richard--Pronounced "ReeShard" in Louisiana. My son's friends all call him Ree. So they began calling me PaPaRee and it stuck. My son's baseball coach calls him ReeBaby, lol and he calls me PapaRee also.

    I have been adjusting, tweaking, and testing this tune for months (as you all know).
    I think this version is pretty damn good. Reviews have been Positive. Gas mileage is holding steady or improved (even with winter gas).

    Haven't been on this thread for a bit. Checked in, and I see a bunch of pages and talk about the latest from @PapaRee. Based on the name, it sounds like wrinkles were ironed out of cruise control. Am I on the right track? Was anything else improved? I’m still on M+W and enjoying, but maybe this is the latest and greatest for B04?

    I was able to test and adjust throttle, shifting, fuel/air delivery, torque maps, cruise control, etc. with the help of @Mooseditty17, @TWTaco and others who were requesting tunes for testing. I am sure there are still improvements to be had. But so far all reviews have been good. Gas mileage was my big concern, but it also has stayed good.

    Just want to throw my review into the mix for @PapaRee 's tune. Reg Krusier 4.0. I REALLY like it so far after one 30 mile drive. One of the main things I've disliked about some of the tunes (and the stock tune) is the yoyo, rubberband affect when you get on it from a standstill or low speed. It is gone now with this tune. That makes me extremely happy. Also, just looking at were the RPMs stay at, and don't hang when I let off the gas, I expect to get better gas mileage. All this with no loss of power and probably a gain. The tranny just seems to shift right now. I've had my 2019 Sport (with 04B33 ECU) for a year and a half and after reading this forum and then experiencing the "weirdness" in the shifting it's so nice to have a normal truck now. Thank you again Paparee and if this hold up expect to get some more funds from me. To everyone, get this tune you will not regret it.
