Dude ive been impressed with this titanium. Gets good penetration even on 1/4 inch and i don't have settings all the way up. Id still do multiple passes though. That was with 0.35 Lincoln wire and some anti splatter spray. Works just fine for me! Ill probably get a 140 0r 170 mig at some point but this is great for my welding needs at this point in time. Perfectly capable welder for most diy projects!

The Titanium™ Easy-Flux 125 Amp Welder is an easy-to-use, lightweight welder that is ideal for basic welding jobs at home or in the shop. This easy-to-use welder package features advanced DC based inverter technology that produces a more stable arc and cleaner welds all while reducing the weight down to only 15 lbs. That's over 50% lighter than conventional transformer based machines. The Easy Flux 125 also includes all the modern safety features such as thermal overload protection and cold start wire feeding so you can concentrate on the job, not the machine. Includes welder and gun package, contact tips and nozzles

I’m gonna check this one out a lil more next time I go. So I’m kinda thinking about being lazy and not taking my skid plate off to change the front diff oil, what’s everybody else do?

Its a good little machine. I think its actually on sale right now for $169. I upgraded the grounding clamp on mine as well which helped.

They need to stop selling the Chicago electric one because there's no comparison and its an AC welder

I’m pretty sure this was the open box they had on sale for 400 something I just don’t know if I should put that money towards a better one or what my shop will run.

That’s a really food welder man. It can be run on 120or 220v. You can use flux or gas. I’d pick that up for that price lol

That was the machine I started with not long ago. It worked good on thick steel, but hard to control and not very consistent. I’ve still got it if someone wants it. After going MIG I wouldn’t touch flux again though haha. That being said, if you can make a flux weld look good, MIG should be a walk in the park.

Hmm the titanium? Ive found it very easy to control and with anti spatter spray the mess literally wipes away with a rag. so clean up is very easy. You do need to clean metal first and make sure you get rid of all the mill scale to make the cleanest welds.

Im sure gass is that much better though so when i get a gas welder im sure ill be well prepared!

Yea they told me I could get their credit card and get 30% off my first purchase so if I could combine that’d be a deal.

I’ve been lazy today looked at it and decided I didn’t wanna drag the stuff from shed to garage in the rain.
If you wanna sell that one let me know I maybe interested in a cheaper starter.
