@BartMaster1234 since you're the apple fan, Why TF do iPads (this one is a 7th gen) have to take forever to charge?

 

I’ve never actually owned an iPad or a tablet lol, probably just a worn battery. They have life spans.

What’s a good cable to by to charge that’s not apple?

one thing that helped me was a new wall charger. The one supplied with my ipad (mini 2 or 3...) took forever because it was a 1A. Just recently bought a 2.4A wall charger and it charges way faster. Don't know what the newer iPads come with but maybe it just needs more power

Its my son's iPad. Bought it last year. Current is 8th gen apparently. Why can't the damn thing be like Android and have Rapid Charge...

EDIT - looks like it can BUT you have to use Apple's 30W charger. Proprietary POS.

Nope, never. Kid gets an iPad. I thought Apple was bad back in the day of Jobs with his FU no user upgrade mentality.

Anything else in this house will forever be a PC.

 

Steve Jobs era Apple was amazing. My 1984 Apple II+ has an entire manual with schematics and where you can buy expansion cards. I even have a few expansion cards made by third parties.



Here’s the old motherboard from that computer. See all the expansion slots? Apple designed it to be modular.
