Does anyone have an idea why this TRD lift kit may not be used for a DCLB, double cab long bed Sport or Off-road? Initial Toyota data in this thread excluded DCLB, later Toyota data did not specifically included short or long bed designation. Thanks in advance.

Good to know I’m not the only crazy.

Back to the topic... has anybody figured out yet what Bilstein shock this is? Something just rebranded, something revalved, or something completely new?

I had planned on 6112/5160 at some point in the future. But this might be a better ‘value’ buy.

I just ordered the shocks and struts to get rid of my spacer lift. My sister works for Toyota so it's worth the price to experiment.

Can the garnish be ordered separately? I want to order only the grille and garnish (keeping my old sensor and I already have an aftermarket lift kit [waiting for last parts to arrive])

What about a 275/75 or 275/70? I think 275s might fit nicely with the TRD leveling lift.

Some of the other people may be able to chime in with better answer, but mine was in a different box with some other stuff like the fog light covers.

Truck looks phonemal...Great choice on the TRD leveling/lift kit. I don't know that I'd change a thing on your rig. Rims looks great and tire size looks nearly perfect. Guessing those are 265s? Looks like you can get a 275 in there with no problem.

I called 2 dealerships close to me today to ask about this kit and they heard about this kit but didn’t seem to know much about it ( surprise right?). Suppose to get a call back tomorrow. One of the guys at one said “ I don’t think this is meant to be a customer product and just put onto some trucks when they arrive at the dealership. I told him I don’t think that is correct info, have seen guys with it already on ( pics from this site) So we will see.

Your truck looks great. Did you black out the Toyota on the factory grill?

sadly no. I already looked into it. It's included in PT84K-35220. Which is over $400, so no savings there.

If you find out it works on a 2wd and want to buy the whole kit I might be interested in buying the grille and garnish from you for a fair price.

If anyone wants to order the kit (without sensor) and doesn’t want the grille/garnish, I would be willing to purchase them from you at a fair price.

Dealer parts guy called today and said Toyota canceled my order for the shocks and struts with no explanation as to why. He said he will resubmit the order and try to find out why it was canceled. I should know by Thursday at the latest what the deal is.
