Super pumped that I got in on this batch! Now begins the impatient waiting game!

With the amount of people interested in paying up front, it should make the upcoming Ti bar stock purchase a little more palatable! :p Speaking of that, @7r41lbr34k3r were you able to source any Ø2.00" titanium rod to reduce excess machining/material costs? Although, any material change now would open the door to porosity issues like you've had in the past... Oh well, just curious!

No need to refresh, just email me or post in here so I can let you know your que number. Right now I'm working on reply #9 of 35. If I can connect your info to your TW name I'll give your number below.

Which order is yours? I probably have it, but don't have enough info in front of me to connect it to your TW name.

#7 and you should have an email from me already.

I think you might be #32 (but ping me in the email to be sure)

    #10

    #14

No worries on the material costs, I still have all of last year's profits in a savings account. I was going to buy a new CNC mill, but with COVID I've just been sitting on it.

The porosity sucked, but that particular company made it right ... and super fast. I will likely order the Ti from them again.

Sent mine at what looks to have been 12:16 Eastern time last night. I was trying to do it from my phone in bed and accidentally deleted it twice before I got it sent off. I was debating on gambling and waiting until I got up for work this morning until I realized that 12am Rick's time is actually 9pm my time so it worked out just as I was going to bed. I probably could've slid in under the wire if I had sent it when I got up though too.

Okay dudes and dudettes I am giving up for the day with 18 orders processed, and you are next in the #19 spott Jeff. My brain is fried, I will try to get a few more done tonight but no way am I going to finish today. PayPal invoices will have to wait for tomorrow as well.

Edit: 20 orders were processed, will finish the remaining 10 in the morning. Then, invoices will go out.

I forgot to mention mine was an MT as well, but I assume Rick's email to those of us who made it in time will ask anything that we forgot to include.

    I didn't get an email...
It feels like one those "follow all the instructions to the letter" or you lose kind of days.

I dont know about that...just seemed like a "get your wristband " kinda day, pertinent details come later...

Ive interacted with Rick a couple times...he'll gorge on details every time...even before its needed lol

If he says you got a wristband, ya gots a wristband. Sweat the small details when needed.

Its a tremendously fun process...enjoy the ride!

I'm a walking contradiction. I do what I can to eliminate a few back and forths, for efficiency's sake (I am two parts German and have a fundamental need for efficiency and precision).

Then, because I tend to get OCD with details I add a few back & forths into the mix again. Things are going smoothly, if anything is missing we'll just have a longer chat before the order is finalized, no big deal it is the nature of the beast.

Being above order #30 is not a good place to be, but the door is not closed yet. 30 is my maximum number of orders, and 37 total orders came in. Some may still back out to make room for the 7 that missed the window.

The good news is that I will make extra knobs, and once the first 30 safely take delivery those extras will be released for sale and will be customizable (as I will not engrave them until they are spoken for).

So did anyone else get a custom knob and then end up going full on custom interior? Cause with the new knob I started looking for a shift boot to go with it, which of course the eBrake should match; well, better make sure the seats match, too.....

No, don't think so. I have bought parts from the OP to complete my look. Was just stating to a fellow Tacoma owner that Billiard balls do not hold heat during the humid hot summer months. Have a good evening. ;)

    My purdy blue ball. :)

Me too! I don’t want to bother The master any more than he currently is, but man the suspense! I think mine went through at 1am EST.
