Ive shot one, they arent what i call fun. Not comfortable to hold, heavy, clunky. $10K?? Nope

 

I had one for a few yrs and sold it some time ago as it was just not fun to shoot anymore. Things are a beast to shoot.

 

Guy I was in the FD had one, I shot it once. That was enough, cost him $2

 

Im not sure what was worst the 50AE or the S&W 500 shooting my 44 Mag is getting to were its not fun as I can only handle about 30 rounds or so before I surrender....

 

Finally got a custom holster made for my Staccato XL. After a long wait it finally arrived. This is a fun gun to shoot, and now I've got a pretty solid holster.

Lone Wolf slide and barrel for my 80% G21 build. I heat colored the stainless slide to get the straw/ran color.

Now if my back ordered parts kits would ship I’d be all set.

 

Heat colored? I would be interested in the process.

 

Stainless turns all kinds of pretty colors depending on the temperature. At 450-500 degrees you get a golden color. It’s brighter if you have a polished surface though. I basically heated the slide and barrel with a map gas torch till I got the color I wanted.

I went a little hotter on the barrel and ended up with a little blue in it. No big deal though.

 

Good score on the 45. That’s the only thing I can’t seem to score I’m down to 2400 round. I need to stock up

Youngest boy turns 21 in a few days. I had most of the parts laying around, so I thought I would build him a G19 .... The last part that I didn't have was the Holosun 507C, and the front suppressor height night sight.
