And now Story time with crippledoldman.

The Steak finger basket at DQ, reminded me of a good one, I hope you enjoy.

I spent my senior year in High School in a small town in southeast Texas, population about 3k. I wen to this school my freshman year, and half of my sophomore year, only to return for my senior year much to my dismay. Like any small town, no matter how hard you try, your going to make enemies wether you like it or not. Funny thing is, these moron's that decided they didn't like me anymore were some of my best friends in my freshman year. You no the story, I spend the night at your house one weekend, and you stay at mine the next. They never really gave me a reason why the change in attitude happened, but they were real nasty and angry. I think part of it was because of the girl I was dating. Her Dad was the Manager at the DQ in town, and I thought she was a real looker. Quite a few guys were jealous because she was seeing me and not them. Anyway, to the point. The Neselonies brothers Steve and Daryl, and a couple of their buddies, Early Bird and one I can't remember were always attempting to start a fight with me, which I avoided most of the time. Their usual story was, follow us out of town, and you and whomever can duke it out. Problem was a couple of these idiots were on probation, and couldn't afford to get into any trouble. Now I'm not a rocket scientist or anything, but I'm not stupid enough to follow 3 or 4 guys out of town by myself. I used to piss them off when I would refuse their offer. I told them on numerous times, to ^%$# off, that I wasn't quite stupid enough to allow the 3 or 4 of them to beat the shit out of me.
Who in their right mind would fall for such a stupid ploy, not me. Now my real problem was with Steve, and I'll give you a description of him. I promise that most of you have known someone just like him. He was a really short dude so people called him"Shorty". He had a nasty disposition, a foul mouth, and a yellow streak a mile wide. He would always talk shit, but every time I heard anything about him fighting, it was always one of his buddies, or his big brother Daryl, doing the fighting for him. Never once that I heard, did the little shit actually back up his motor mouth. These was one big dude, and dam if I can remember his name, but one night he made the mistake of trying to reach inside my car and unlock my door. Now before and during this bad decision of his, I warned him twice not to put his hand inside my car, so when he did, I broke his hand with my tire iron, from the Honda Civic I was driving. It was only about 14 inches long, and big around as my thumb. After this incident, I drove away. This type of shit wen on all year long. Well one night, I was waiting for the girlfriend to get off work, they were closing up and I was waiting in the parking lot.
Lo and behold here came the 4 idiots into the parking lot. They were all drinking beer, which I know at least 3 of them were minors, and started talking their usual shit of follow us out of town crap again. Well I just sat there in my car, with hand on tire iron, and tried to ignore them. Now I'm facing the dairy queen, and there backs were facing it. I noticed a car pull in behind DQ and pull around with the headlights off. They didn't see it, and I didn't say anything or warn them, if you guessed the police, bingo. Cops hit their lights, and the beer cans flew. Needless to say, that was the end of the nights episode.
A few days later, in the same parking lot, Steve accused me of calling the police on them, and had started telling others the same story. I just looked at him in utter astonishment. I asked him, Steve if I'm sitting in my car, talking to your and the others, how in the hell did I call the police, on my dick tracy watch, with 2 way communicator. I busted out laughing at this one, but he didn't think it was funny. Little did I know a few days later, this would come to a head. Across the street parallel to DQ was the big supermarket in town. They closed up around 7:00 pm and the parking lot was used as hang out spot. Well one night my girlfriend and I had an argument about what I can't remember. Anyway, I left her house really pissed off and headed into town. I was sitting in the super market parking lot facing the main drag, and was fuming. Who should pull up next to me, but Steve and Early bird. And Steve started running his mouth, just like he always did. I told him tonight is your lucky night, get the fuck out of the car. I was really looking forward to beating his ass, but then to the rescue comes Early Bird. Well we had a good classic nock down, 5-10 minute fight. The only part I remember is he was winning, and I just happened to look down and noticed he was barefoot. Now some of you will not like this part, but in my opinion, anything goes in a fist fight, short of stabbing and shooting. He had me in a head lock, banging my head into the side of somebodies car. Well I started stomping on his bar feet with he hard plastic heel of my shoes, and he promptly let go. I kicked him in the knee as hard as I could, and when I noticed he wasn't moving around very well, I finally busted him a few good licks in the face. We stopped fighting, and stood looking at each other, and I told him Earl, what the fuck are you doing taking up for this chicken shit MF. I told him, dude I've never had a problem with you, and we parted ways. I told Steve, your day will come.
you know how adrenaline effects your body, well I had the shakes really bad, and bummed a smoke from one of the bystanders. I hadn't even realized we had drawn a crowd. One of my older brothers buddies was there, and he told me if anyone else would have jumped into the fight, he would have kicked their ass. Well the dude I got the smoke from told me, David, I always thought you were a pussy, because you always avoided fighting. I just looked at him, and smoked the cig. Well I went home and discovered I was covered in blood, but most of it wasn't mine.I had a busted lip, you know the kind with a good split and a painful knot, that hurts like hell. A good bruise under one eye, and my nose was sore as hell. Just to be cautious, I woke my dad up and told him what happened, just in case the cops were to show up. I cleaned up and went to bed. About 3 days later, I was at my girlfriends house. We were sitting outside, and her friend Patty pulls into the driveway, and Early bird was in the car with her. Now my right hand and wrist was till sore, from were I missed a punch during the fight, and hit a car really hard, trying to hit him. He get's out of the car, and I reached into mine and retrieved my handy tire iron. He told me he wasn't looking for trouble, and I told him that was just fine by me. He took off his sunglasses and showed me his left eye, that was still almost completely closed, black and purple as hell. He also showed me his bandaged foot. He told me, I mangled his 2 smaller toes when I stomped on them(several times), and had to have stitches on both toes.
We actually became somewhat decent friends after that.
But in the end Steve got my girlfriend, but that's another story, not really worth telling. But when I did confront them about a year later, I told her I hoped the loser gets her pregnant and they'd have to get married. (Which actually happened) Of course the chicken shit wouldn't get out of the car when I confronted them. True to form, he sat between 2 girls in the back seat, and hid between them like the coward he was. I begged him to get out, but the girls told him not too. Last I heard he was serving several years in prison somewhere in Texas, most likely Huntsville.


I know, a long rant from the past, and I did leave some blah, blah bullshit out, but I still think it's a little long winded.
