So it's saying those shocks will work with up to a 1 inch lift. You are doing a 2 inch lift block. I will let you come to the conclusion about what is wrong there...

I have no idea why a 2 inch block was added in anyway. Asked for 1 inch and got 2 for some reason. They only added a block for one side and not the other so I'm gonna try and figure that one out as well

Just to help you out, wait about a week, give me 100 bucks and you can get springs with an add a leaf... Will give you about 2.5. No blocks or any of that crap

So, if you look at your Tacoma, all the lift comes from the leafs and coils. The shocks just help the load and do not add lift. That’s why the blocks are used for added lift to your stocks not the shocks.

For the most part same with the front and where they are notch set of preload with the coils. Also expect settling after a bit.

if the block was not installed, the front end will be 2 inches higher than stock, and the rear will be the same. The front of my truck currently sits almost ~1.5 inches lower than the rear. So the suspension in the front and the back will be completely even after it settles?

Tough to say, all depends on how it’s setup! You could end up with the infamous taco lean regardless.

I think the coil overs in the front can be adjusted anyway just in case.
