    about 12 yrs ago when one broke i thought i might should get a new one,,, then a few years later the other side broke. been like that ever since,,, they never move. i wouldnt worry about it unless it bothers you.

    20210215_122320.jpg 20210215_122336.jpg Its just a piece of rod from one of those cheap advertising signs you see stuck in the grass. Drilled 2 holes and crimped the rod around the plastic. Bend the loop to conform to the contour of the grille. Install fastener. Bingo! Its been like this for almost 2 years now.

    I know, it's obviously a good option, just wanted to see if the community has a common jerry-rig solution. These are really helpful!

    I replaced both of mine, they were taking on water every time it rained. There are many ways you can fix it, or just replace it. If it's not moving around a lot, or acting like it will fall out, I wouldn't worry about it.
