i wouldn't bother. no one really cares about boomer yelp and they don't actually do anything.

if you don't get the resolution you want from cali raised i'd call up your credit card company. they'd be able to issue a charge back.

I know what bbb is and I’m calling it boomer Yelp because it has been decades since they meant anything. No one uses them for anything anymore these days and their name doesn’t carry any weight.

    Lots--
I won’t buy their lights as you can tell from the site they just markup stuff they don’t make and they all look meh. The sliders I snagged are great. Super sleek and work for my build. I also picked up local. Not sure why everyone hates on them for being skaters or whatever. They don’t. The few I talked to at the shop in Ft Worth were hockey players from Ladera Ranch California. Orange County.

go through the return process and call them. Shouldn’t be an issue and if it is —make sure you deal with it starting with your Bank. Sorry man. Good luck

If you want cheap LEDs that are actually priced to reflect the quality and light output get some Auxbeams. Caliraised stuff are just cheap imports marked up cause they're EAF.

I had a similar experience with their ditch lights, when I got them they looked decent and were the lights I ordered but when I installed them one of them didn't turn on so I emailed them and they sent out a new right away. I was surprised by that because they didn't want the old back to find out what happened with it or anything, that also made me a little suspicious but just figured eh good customer service. Jump forward a couple months after looking into lighting more I find out that their ditch lights where just cheap Amazon lights. After that I stopped shopping with them.

Not surprised one of these hype follower companies is just shilling out cheap China crap. I am surprised they're not even bothering to have it "rebranded" or maybe their supplier forgot to rebox it.

I but my China crap lights straight from the slow boat. I should probably order new bed/camp lights so I have them in a few months for my next camping trip.

Yeah even RIGID you can find china copies on Amazon for their designs so makes me think that they could be doing something similar. TBH the only two companies I don't see with cheap copies on amazon is Baja Designs and KC (sometimes)

There are cheap copies of Baja. The difference is Baja pursues them legally so they don’t stick around long, which you can do when you manufacture a unique product vs resell a rebranded one.

Seems reasonable so that they can keep their brand, "clean". The price is just passed on to the end user anyways.

The cheapass reboxers don't care about the slight profit loss of sending a replacement.

I turned the counterfeiters into Baja. And Baja should absolutely legally pursue those that copy their products, though copies never perform anywhere near as well. The difference is quality brands have products that are legally defendable as unique to the brand vs resellers of mass market China goods could make no such claim.

 good on ya keep fighting the good fight :pccoffee:*scroll scroll scrolll* there's some cheap lights that will last many years, too bad they're not top quality light pattern and output. My Overland dinner on my tailgate won't look appealing :puke:

I do not have any personal experience with Caliraised lights beyond a brief exchange with their tech support. I wrote them once asking about their 32" light bar I believe it was. They have it listed as a 300W light. I asked what the actual amp draw was because I was still planning and deciding. I also know that 300W draw from an LED light bar would be a really high number (like 21-25A high) and looking at their wiring harness, it didn't look like 10awg wire to me, so I made a logical conclusion that like most, the 300W was an "equivalency" estimate. Anyway, there reply was (paraphrasing here) "it contains 60 5W LEDs, so it is 300A". It was then that I got the feeling that they were just repacking stuff, not producing it. I don't have anything against that per se, but I could tell it wasn't what I was looking for. I wrote Diode Dyanamics, and got a whole bunch of technical data beyond what I had even asked for. So they are who I went with. Turns out, after having read the reviews, my hunch was a good one. Now, full disclaimer after all that praise. I have the Morimoto fog lights. Yes, Diode Dynamics are freaking awesome and easily outperform the Morimotos. Yes, I am a whore for SSC2's (just ask my pimp @memario1214). Yes, I read @crashnburn80 review. Yes, I know all that! But I wanted switchback halos in my fogs... :anonymous:

Yep, they kind of suck... My 42" light bar looked like it was dunked in a tub of water within 1 week of installing it. Never cheaping out on a light bar again.

Same thing I have done for Rigid Industries and Toyota Corporate in other cases. IP thieves are absolute scum that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and I am more than happy to help that process get started.

Laura from Switch-Pros almost sued them too if they didn’t stop selling a counterfeit version of the Switch-Pros. She said she caught them at a parking lot one day and confronted them lol!
