Cool. Well, I'll let ya know how the drive goes. I went to Vicksburg this summer on that same route. It's long (considering driving through the Delta). However, not nearly as "busy" as 55. Always a trade off. I set cruise at 70 and just cruised, passed some farm equipment, stopped at a few places I wanted to go see. Overall, not great, but not bad. Past Cleveland isn't much to see until Vicksburg. Past Vicksburg, there is Port Gibson and Natchez.

Who can recommend a reputable shop where I can drive in my stock 2020 and drive out that afternoon with a lift, 33’s and no rubbing?

I’m in Carthage, MS; half hour north of Jackson.

I would call these two places-
    1) 49 Tire & Auto Service ( https://49tire.com/lift-lower-and-leveling-kits-in-richland-ms )
    2) Big 10 Tire Pros ( https://big10tiresms.com/lift-kits-in-jackson-hattiesburg-pearl-and-madison-ms )

I'd call Jackson Powertrain for any gearing, bearings, driveshaft, and such
    ( http://jacksonpowertrain.com/ )

    Good luck!

I see you've got that new rag waving but still shouting that ol' "Hotty Toddy" and with a screenname like playdixe. Kind of oxymoronic, wouldn't you think?

    Shots across the bow.

What can I say? I'm conundrum a lot of times . I'm an old school Rebel (was there in early 2000s when the OM band still played Dixie -- which I was proud to be part of). But I don't oppose the new flag. I think it looks great tbh!

I know it's been a hard sale here in MS. Of course saying that, I'm no fan of ol' Tater Tot.

In Kentucky for work and this was my truck before I went to dinner, the roads aren’t terrible but still a bit slick even with the salt and plowing. I can only imagine how bad it is without salt or plows, add in inexperienced drivers and it’s even worse.

I ended up tuning another guy that drove from Biloxi to my house.

I do have a Hunting camp in Natchez. I go there often. I have met a few different people at the WalMart in Natchez to tune their truck.
That is where I met @playdixie

I'd be down for a day trip to Natchez. Gives me an excuse to get out of the house. My only caveat is wait until this damned arctic weather leaves us in warmer temps. I'm about 4-5 hours away, so it would take meet a little while to get down there, but hey an overnight trip isn't such a bad thing either.
