Big day, Maso Gasshole installed. Less than 30 seconds for such a useful mod. Has to be one off the quickest mods I have ever done.

Rack looks great. I’ve been thinking of adding a rack to help carry my 16’ canoe, too, but agree the Prinsu-type racks are really more than I need. Where did you find the OEM rack for $280?

Thank you for the kind words! We’ve been six months and 15,000 miles now full time based out of our tacoma exploring the western US and are loving it! I know we are going to spend years driving the US and Canada. The truck has been great only had a couple of minor issues; hot brakes on a Colorado pass and just found a leaky rear diff seal.

We were hoping to tour the US and Canada after our big trip but a small bug messed up our plans but we’re still super lucky and happy. We’re heading to Baja this week to further test us and the truck out. Crossing our fingers for crossing the Atlantic in June!

I live in Allen and there have been folks without power here all day long. Thankfully, knock on wood ours has stayed on today. We have an older friend who lives in Lucas and his power has been off all day long too. He and his dog are here tonight. Another friend in Plano has his power out as well. Been out all night and day today and still off. He has a generator and ran out of propane. I told him I had a full new tank over here with his name on it. He came and got it. Tied into his gas furnace, TV, and Modem on the same power strip and he is just fine now.

It's currently 10 degrees here in north MS where I'm at. We haven't lost power. Yet. but we're expecting another round of snow on Wed and Thursday. Luckily, those are my days off. Or supposed to be.

Friends in flower mound where I used to live said it's been on and off since 2 am.(more off than on) Another half a mile down the road hasn't had 1 outage. Overall no super long extended outages from what I've heard from them.

I snagged my kids from their moms. She hasn’t had power in Northlake. Southlake has some out still too. I haven’t lost any yet. Old ass neighborhood. I think we are good. Lots of old people around me too.

I’m thinking a similar style/color rear bumper would make that front bumper look even better. Maybe just my OCD of seeing a black front bumper with a color matched rear bumper though.

Yeah wife nixed that idea, she likes the OEM. But she approved the winch, and helped with the install, so there's that.

@Kenstogie Which glove box organizer did you use? I've a 2021 rig and the Salix/OCD organizer was about 1/2 inch too deep (i.e., too big) on the RH side. Or did you shave yours down?

Believe me, I completely understand keeping the wife happy. Even still she sounds like a keeper if she is helping with the mods/upgrades.

Hope everyone stays safe down there! We just went through a week of -30F up here, but our infrastructure is equipped for it, hopefully it’ll be a short lived event.
